Legal Contract
Welcome to Legacy Limousine. Your car has been inspected by your driver and/or by our management prior to our engagement. Prior damage has been noted and recorded for your protection and safety. You (the customer) are encouraged to inspect and confirm the condition of your limousine prior to use. This car will be re-inspected upon conclusion of our engagement, by you, the driver and our management. Therefore, any new damages will be the responsibility of yourself and your party. You will be charged for all repairs and any unusual cleaning that was caused by you or anyone in your party.
DEPOSIT: A minimum deposit of $100.00 per limousine reserved is required to secure the date of your engagement. This deposit is payable by VISA/MC/AMEX, Cashiers Check or Money Order. If you are sending Legacy Limousine a check or money order, we MUST receive the deposit within 48-hours of booking the engagement to reserve the date.
SUNROOF/WINDOWS: For your safety, we ask that ALL BODY PARTS remain inside of the passenger cabin at all times while the vehicle is in motion. (NO STANDING OR HANGING OUT OF THE SUNROOF AND/OR WINDOWS). You are subject to a $250.00 (TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS) charge if this does occur.
MINORS: Special laws apply while transporting passengers UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE. SECTIONS, 5384.1 and 5384.5 of the public utilities code. In brief, these laws require limousine drivers to ascertain identifications. If any passengers are under 21 years of age, the driver must read a statement advising that "NO ONE SHALL BE ALLOWED TO DRINK ANY TYPE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WHILE MINORS ARE PRESENT". IF SO, OUR SERVICE WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY, THE CUSTOMER (AND PARTY) WILL BE RETURNED TO THE POINT OF ORIGIN. **The driver would like everyone to read and sign this statement if minors will be present.
VOMITING IN THE LIMOUSINE: We have a $500.00 (FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS) charge for any passenger(s) that VOMITS in the limousine. This is necessary due to the costly cleaning, and the time the car cannot be used. The driver will be more than happy to pull over (at any given time, as long as it is safe) or stop when asked to do so.
SMOKING IN THE LIMOUSINE: We do not permit smoking in any of our vehicles. Failure to comply is a $100.00 (ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS) fine to be paid immediately.
WE AT LEGACY LIMOUSINE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FORGOTTEN, LEFT, LOST, DAMAGED OR STOLEN ARTICLES IN THE VEHICLE AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
Please note company policies:
a. 20% gratuity on all
charters/transfers.
b. 5% to 10% license fee on all
charters/transfers.
c. Additional hours will be billed at
a contracted hourly rate.
d. All contracted engagements must be
paid prior to or upon pick-up on the contracted date of service.
e. Client will be responsible and
forfeit full fare if cancellation occurs within 7 business days of scheduled
date.
f. A non-refundable cancellation fee
of $100.00 applies to all contracts when the reservation is taken (per limousine
reserved.)
g. Comparable vehicle substitution is
at the discretion of Legacy Limousine, in the event of a breakdown, etc.
h. If anyone in the limousine should
become disrespectful (The use of profanity, lewd behavior, harassment of any
type..) at any given time towards the driver or anyone else riding in or
around the vehicle, the driver can terminate the charter at any destination and
the client will be responsible and forfeit full fare.
I understand, and agree to all of the above terms and conditions. If I, or anyone in my party, should default on any of the above terms or conditions, the rental agreement will be terminated. Further, I take full responsibility for any and all contracted costs, damages, and all collection fee to recover fees caused by myself, or anyone in my party.
